I have it above eye level so the 12 tilt is perfect for viewing in my garage. The tilt feature was perfect for the angle we needed in our bedroom. I can't believe what great quality I got at a very reasonable price. It's perfect for my needs and I couldn't be happier. It was also very easy toinstall the tv onto the frame once it was installed. It worked great. I've used it for a 60 TV and it's a great mount for it. I'm very happy with the result. I'll be using it for the rest of my life. I don't think I'll need to buy another TV mount like this in the future. It is a great value for what you get. I would definitely recommend this mount for any TV set or set to be mounted on the wall or in a garage. It has a leveling bubble on the frame to assist you in determining a level mount.
