The curly hair attachment is superior to Dyson in that it has two length adjustments which makes the drying time is shorter for me when using the setting for longer hair. I have fine, curly hair and the diffuser attachment does an amazing job of taming frizz and defining my curls. My hair is naturally curly so that was the main factor in my decision of the best dryer suited for that texture. Having tried a friends Dyson I thought it was great, but upon receiving the Shark Im EXTREMELY pleased! The Shark dryer replaced my ~$100 Rusk hair dryer bought 10 years ago, and it is MAGIC. It's a miracle! I'm so glad I bought it. I've been using it for 2 months and it's working great. I can't believe how much time I've saved. I'm in love with this dryer.
