Cooks evenly without sticking. Family size- Cooks up to 8 servings of pasta at one time. It honestly took 30 minutes to cook my pasta al dente, granted I did make 8 servings. I did have to adjust the cook time to 23 minutes for spaghetti and depending on what kind of pasta you like. It's also very easy to drain pasta with the included cover. (I am 65 and have some issues with arthritis) But for me and my situation it works great. Works perfect for my teenage son!
