The tree trunk thing with the dumping mechanism comes out very easily, but that does make it easier to store. The directions are good, however I viewed a YouTube assembly by a customer. I would buy this again great value for my money. Great idea for kids to play in and with during hot summer months? Granddaughter sent me a video of him excitedly playing with it! Very satisfied customer. Needs more than 1 fishing rod though so more than one child can fish when friends come to play! It's a great idea for children to play with during the summer months. It's also a good idea for parents to keep their kids in the pool during the winter months, as it's cold and dark in the summer. It was a great gift for my daughter, who loves to swim and play in the water. She was so excited when she received it.
