The unit is lightweight and attached to the end of the extension pole easily. The biggest problem was not being able to see the gutter brackets and closing the grip on one. It is fairly sturdy even though it is all plastic. The grappling mechanism uses fishing line that can get bound up every once in a while, but is easy to fix. Works better than I thought it would. I was impressed. 2 story may be more dependent on the weight of the pole that is used. It may be better if the pole is lighter than the one used for the grappling mechanism. It's a good idea to use Vaseline as a lubricant for the monofilament line, as it won't degrade the line.
