Right now at Amazon you can get First Alert 0.94 cu. ft. Digital Ready-Seal for $399.99. Fits two pistols easily and about 6 boxes of ammo for pistols and shotgun shells. Operation is straightforward and neither I nor my wife have had any problems opening the safe as needed. I would not recommend using this for guns and ammo unless you have something to minimize the humidity, otherwise your guns will surely rust. However, I've found with some dehumidifying crystals that I can keep the inside of the safe around 40% humidity. Happy with purchase so far. I love this safe! There is a pin inside to keep the safe from locking until you pull it. For my purposes, this safe worked great for my purposes. For your purposes, however, I wouldn't recommend using it for guns or ammo if you don't want to risk rusting your guns. You'll need to buy a humidity absorber to keep it from getting too humid. I bought one of those humidity absorbers and put it in the safe. It worked great. There was no humidity buildup, so I didn't need to worry about it too much. I was able to keep my gun safe at around 40%.
