Right now at Amazon you can get Acer Nitro 28\" Class UHD IPS Gaming for $289.99. The stand is not as sturdy as you would like but if you dont touch the monitor, it will be fine. Apps scale perfectly and I can deal with the ones that don't. Yes, the speakers are nothing great but get the job done. It is also a great value for the specs you get. Some older software may not scale to 4K perfectly well but newer software is fine. I am happy I got it. This monitor looks great in person. The setup is very easy. It wakes with my Mac M1 Mini and games look great. From the price performance aspect, this monitor is excellent. Love themonitor, and the resolution is fantastic. It has built in speakers, which are not hi-def but better than the built-in speakers from the laptop or MacMini. For productivity, video streaming and web browsing, it is a great monitor. The resolution is great and allows me to see more of an Excel worksheet or have two full size side by side windows from different apps. Also like the fact it hasBuilt in speakers. The speakers are not high-def, but they are better than those on the laptop and MacMini, and they work well.
